**Wraith**
By Karen Morley

The walls of the old hotel loom around you. You hold your candle high, hoping the meager light will penetrate the darkness that surrounds you. The deep red fabric on the walls gives a warmth, but little comfort as you notice the large spiders that dangle from their webs on the ceilings and doors as you pass by. Ornate candelabras line the walls, but give no hope for more light as their candles have long since burned to nothing. You wonder how you got into this situation and when will you find your way out!?

Suddenly, you see a glimmer of light at the far end of the hallway and a figure standing there. "There's somebody else here?" You question that thought as it crosses your mind. "I thought I was alone on this assignment?" You hesitate, then move forward slowly....

A woman! And for a moment, she seems lost in her thoughts and takes no notice of you. But then, she turns and she sees you. You think about calling out to her, but words seem caught in your throat. She almost appears to float as she comes towards you. And even from this distance, her mezmerizing beauty is apparent.

As she comes closer her gown swirls around her, as though a breeze were blowing down the hallway. But you feel nothing! You are awestruck and cannot move. She holds no candle yet she is bathed in a golden glow of light. And she moves closer.

Then, she's suddenly before you! And she reaches out her hand as if to speak.......and your amazement turns to fear!

*Wraith* is a unique two-faced Gene® doll! This is a single doll! Formerly a Song of Spain. Her "scary" face is hand-sculpted from polymer clay and paper clay and firmly applied to the back of her head. It is easily covered, or uncovered, by her hair and lovely vintage veil. Her original face has had all of it's factory paint and lashes removed and has been completely repainted using quality acrylic paints and special sealers, as is her sculpted face. Her nails have been painted to match her cold skin-tone in a blue-grey. UV protectant matte finish has been applied and a high gloss sealer enhances her eyes, nails and lipstick. She has a unique pale appearance and light pale blue veining has been added to her bare feet. She has painted lashes and her breasts are realistically painted.
Her original hair has been removed and soft, high-quality white mohair locks have been applied to her head. She's dressed in fine vintage silk and lace with chiffon overlays. All fabrics are old and given extra stress in appropriate places to capture the look of a well-worn and tattered gown . Her veil is removeable as is her jewelry but it is not recommended to remove her dress as the piece is completely hand-sewn and sewn on the doll. She wears vintage lace panties.
